NLT Australia and the NLT Global research and development team have created a fast, reliable, digital communication backbone for two-way messaging, tracking and environmental monitoring. NLT Australia was the first to develop a working prototype for a new remote telemetry system called Wi-O. The Wi-O will revolutionise the way data is collecte din the mining industry by enableing the user to monitor any piece of equipment wirelessly. Also developed in Australia was the Ultracool enclosure which utilizes smart design and low-power cooling technology. Testing has shown a reduction of over 10 degrees in temperature when mounted in direct sunlight in a simulated outback environment. The NLT approach is the preferred solution for today's underground mine.
