Heidi Levitt, President

Heidi is a Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP) with extensive experience in the mining industry. Heidi came to NLT from its parent company Levitt-Safety Limited, the largest privately held safety distributor in Canada, where she held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Heidi has a B.A from the University of Western Ontario and sits on the Board of Directors of both Levitt-Safety Limited and NLT.

Fred Kopeschny, Director, Engineering

Fred is a Certified Engineering Technologist and active member of the Ontario Association of Technicians and Technologists. He joined NLT in 1987 and went on to form the Engineering department and establish NLT’s quality systems. Fred is responsible for the design of NLT’s cap lamps and their associated charging systems.

Australia

Tim Haight, Director NLT Australia PTY LTD

Tim joined NLT in 2005 to open and manage the newly-formed Australian office. Tim brings to the position over 25 years of Engineering, Industrial Process and Marketing experience, most recently with a large Australian Engineering and Manufacturing company specializing in industrial electric power supply, control, communications, and automation products and systems.

Chile

José Ojados, Director, NLT Chile LTDA

José has a Bsc in Mechanical Engineering from INSA in Lyon, France and an Executive MBA from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile. José has been managing NLT Chile since 2001; he has developed a very reliable sales and technical team, maintaining NLT as the leader in the Chilean cap lamp market. José’s solid management skills and knowledge of instrumentation have enabled him to establish NLT Chile as a leader in underground digital communication.
